Orders, payment and build timing
Are KIBOPC “Pre-built” PCs already assembled and ready to ship?+
No. KIBOPC does not operate a warehouse of ready-to-ship assembled computers. “Pre-built”, “Pre-configured” and “Template” PCs are recommended design templates that are built completely from scratch only after order acceptance and cleared payment.
What is the difference between a Custom Configurator Build and a Pre-configured Template Build?+
A Custom Configurator Build uses parts or specifications selected by the customer. A Pre-configured Template Build uses a configuration suggested by KIBOPC. Both are Made-to-order PCs and both involve unboxing brand-new components, applying thermal paste, assembling, configuring, stress testing and quality checking the system after payment clears.
How long does Stripe payment clearing take?+
Stripe payment confirmation and security clearing may take up to 4 business days. KIBOPC does not normally begin component ordering, allocation, assembly, configuration or testing for made-to-order PCs during this clearing window.
How long does it take to build and dispatch a PC?+
After payment fully clears, the usual build, testing and dispatch preparation timeframe is 7 to 14 business days. This can vary because of component availability, supplier delays, courier delays, compatibility checks, quality-control checks, workload or customer-requested changes.
Where does KIBOPC deliver?+
KIBOPC currently delivers within Ireland only, unless KIBOPC expressly agrees otherwise in writing before the order is placed.

Cancellation, refunds and statutory rights
Can I cancel a made-to-order PC after the Build Process starts?+
Normally, no. Once KIBOPC begins the Build Process, the 14-day change-of-mind cooling-off right is excluded for Made-to-order PCs to the fullest extent permitted by Irish consumer law. This applies to both Custom Configurator Builds and Pre-configured Template Builds, even if the PC has not yet been dispatched.
Can I cancel during the Stripe clearing window?+
If you request cancellation during the 4-business-day Stripe payment clearing window and before the Build Process starts, KIBOPC will normally accept it. Because Stripe does not refund processing fees to merchants, the refund will be minus the non-refundable Stripe credit card/payment processing fees charged to KIBOPC. This does not apply to faulty goods, KIBOPC cancellations or refunds where law requires a full refund.
What if my PC is faulty?+
Your statutory rights apply. If a PC is faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, not durable, unsafe or otherwise does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy depending on the circumstances. The made-to-order cancellation exclusion does not remove faulty-goods rights.
What should I do if my PC arrives damaged?+
Inspect the parcel promptly and contact support.kibopc@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery where possible. Include your order number, photos of outer and inner packaging, photos or video of the issue and a clear description. Keep all packaging. This 48-hour report helps courier claims and does not remove statutory rights.

Services, repairs and customer hardware
Do repair or diagnostic services wait for the 4-day Stripe clearing window?+
No. Pure Services such as diagnostics, repairs, upgrades and maintenance may begin immediately when your hardware arrives at the KIBOPC workshop, unless KIBOPC agrees otherwise in writing.
Are completed services refundable?+
Once a Service has been fully performed, the service fee is normally non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel after work starts but before completion, KIBOPC may charge a reasonable amount for work already performed, diagnostic time, labour, parts ordered and other costs incurred.
Should I back up my data before repair or diagnostics?+
Yes. Back up your data and remove unnecessary personal files before giving hardware to KIBOPC where possible. KIBOPC is not responsible for loss of data except where caused by KIBOPC’s negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy, cookies and payments
Does KIBOPC store my full credit card details?+
No. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or another approved payment provider. KIBOPC does not store full card numbers, CVV codes or full card security details on its own servers.
What data does the PC Configurator collect?+
The configurator may save selected components and technical preferences, including CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, storage, power supply, case, cooler, RGB options, operating system preferences, estimated price, saved configuration, compatibility notes and intended use. KIBOPC uses this to keep your build active, check compatibility, prepare quotes, build the correct PC and provide support.
Does KIBOPC use Google Analytics?+
Yes, KIBOPC uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand user behaviour, but it is optional and not strictly necessary. Google Analytics loads only after you give analytics consent through the cookie banner or settings, where consent is required by law.
Can I reject analytics cookies?+
Yes. You can reject Google Analytics and other optional analytics cookies and still browse the website, use the configurator and request a quote.
